"Thanks to your perseverance, your attention to detail, and your aesthetic sense, a truly extraordinary result was achieved. So far, every patient, staff member, and visitor to the psychosomatic clinic has expressed exceptional praise for the outcome. And I was delighted by a report in the Süddeutsche Zeitung that began with the words: "It doesn't get any more beautiful than this!""

Diessen Monastery Clinic: A monastery gets a new life through the planning and implementation as a clinic
In Dießen am Ammersee, an old monastery was converted into a clinic for psychosomatic illnesses. Pilati planned the project from the initial designs to the commissioning of the clinic. More than 100 patient rooms were created. Doctors' and therapy rooms, nurses' stations, a restaurant, a library, lounges, and a winter garden were also installed.
It was particularly important to us to preserve the historic character of the monastery rooms and combine them with the modern requirements of a hospital. For the patient rooms, we developed a health-promoting color scheme that, combined with warm materials and individually designed furniture, ensures patients' well-being during their stay.
